Estate Terms, Conditions & Liability Waiver

By submitting this booking, you acknowledge that you are entering the private acreage of a historic, working hillside estate known as Mulholland Estate Farm (hereinafter “the Estate”).
NOTICE: The property includes uneven and natural terrain, stairs, unpaved paths, active agricultural operations, evening/low-light conditions, and native Hollywood Hills wildlife, all of which may present inherent risks.
1. Recommended Attire & Safety Protocol
Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended for the farm tour and all outdoor portions of the evening. The Hollywood Hills can be cool after sunset; we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap. You agree to follow all safety instructions, rules, and directions provided by Estate staff at all times.
2. Guest Responsibilities
(a) Safety Compliance. You will comply with all verbal and written safety instructions provided by Mulholland Estate Farm staff.
(b) Minor Supervision. As the parent or legal guardian of any minors in your party, you will supervise them at all times and accept full responsibility for their conduct and safety.
(c) Property & Animal Respect. You will treat all Estate structures, equipment, crops, and animal life with care and respect, and will not damage, disturb, or remove any property.
3. Dining & Dietary Acknowledgment
(a) Dietary Disclosure. You have disclosed all known food allergies, dietary restrictions, and sensitivities in your booking. While our culinary team takes care to accommodate disclosed dietary needs, cross-contamination may occur in shared kitchen environments.
(b) Allergy Risk. Guests with severe or life-threatening allergies attend at their own risk and are encouraged to bring necessary medications (e.g., EpiPen).
(c) Alcohol. If alcohol is served, you confirm that all members of your party consuming alcohol are 21 years of age or older and will do so responsibly.
4. Food Preparation & Consumption Waiver
You acknowledge that all food served during this event is prepared on-site in the private estate kitchen of Mulholland Estate Farm. By attending and consuming food at this event, you voluntarily accept all risks associated with the preparation, handling, and consumption of food, including but not limited to foodborne illness, allergic reactions (whether or not allergies were previously disclosed), adverse reactions to ingredients, and any other food-related illness or injury. You understand that despite reasonable precautions, risks inherent to food preparation and consumption cannot be entirely eliminated. The Estate makes no guarantees regarding the allergen content of any dish and shall not be held liable for any illness, allergic reaction, or adverse health effect resulting from the consumption of food or beverages served at this event.
5. Assumption of Risk
By attending this farm dinner experience at Mulholland Estate Farm, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your presence on the property, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, encounters with wildlife, weather-related hazards, risks inherent to agricultural and outdoor activities, evening/low-light conditions, and food-related risks including allergic reactions and foodborne illness.
6. Release of Liability & Hold Harmless
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby release, waive, and agree to hold harmless Mulholland Estate Farm, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, chefs, food handlers, and agents from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, or liabilities of any kind arising out of or related to your attendance, participation in the farm tour, dinner, or any activity, consumption of food or beverages, or presence on the property, including those caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the released parties, except to the extent caused by their gross negligence or willful misconduct.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mulholland Estate Farm, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these terms, your negligent or wrongful conduct, or any claim brought by a member of your party.
8. Photo & Media Release
You grant Mulholland Estate Farm permission to photograph, film, and record you and members of your party during your visit. You consent to the use of such images, video, and audio recordings for promotional, marketing, editorial, and commercial purposes across all media, without compensation or further approval. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify staff upon arrival.
9. Medical Emergency Authorization
In the event of a medical emergency, you authorize Mulholland Estate Farm staff to contact emergency medical services and, if necessary, make decisions regarding emergency medical treatment for you or members of your party. You agree to be responsible for all costs associated with emergency medical care.
10. Events, Weather & Force Majeure
Farm dinners proceed in most weather conditions and may include evening temperatures cooler than daytime. Mulholland Estate Farm reserves the right to reschedule, modify, or cancel any event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: extreme weather, high winds, fire danger, red flag warnings, earthquakes, public health orders, government restrictions, utility failures, road closures, or other emergency conditions. In such cases, refunds or credits will be handled in accordance with our cancellation policy below. The Estate shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or expenses incurred due to event cancellation or modification caused by force majeure circumstances.
11. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement or your attendance at Mulholland Estate Farm shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. You waive any objection to venue and consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
12. Severability
If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
By completing this booking and checking the acknowledgment box below, you confirm that this constitutes your electronic signature, which carries the same legal weight as a handwritten signature. You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, Conditions, and Liability Waiver on behalf of yourself and all members of your party.
Cancellation & Modification Policy
Farm dinner events require advance preparation
Given the nature of farm dinner events—which require advance ingredient sourcing, chef preparation, and limited seating—the following policy applies:
(a) Full Refund. Cancellations made seven (7) days or more prior to your scheduled dinner date are eligible for a full refund.
(b) Partial Refund. Cancellations made three (3) to six (6) days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund or full credit toward a future date.
(c) No Refund. Cancellations made within forty-eight (48) hours of the scheduled dinner, as well as no-shows, are not eligible for refunds.
(d) Modifications. Date changes are subject to availability and must be requested at least seven (7) days in advance.
